Pamela Phelan, Esq.

After four years as the Litigation Director at the Disability Rights Center-NH, where she represented individuals with disabilities and led systemic reform initiatives, Pamela returned to the New Hampshire Public Defender in a dual role of trial and appellate litigator. Before her role at DRC, Pamela was the Chief Deputy Clerk at the United States District Court for the District of New Hampshire, a trial and appellate lawyer at the Public Defender, and a shareholder at Orr & Reno. She teaches trial advocacy skills to Daniel Webster Scholars at the UNH Franklin Pierce School of Law and from 2021-2022, served as Chairperson for the New Hampshire Bar Association Committee for Cooperation with the Courts. Pamela is a Creighton University School of Law graduate.
